Mbit™ - Mindfulness Based Ideation Training

How do we come up with a new ideas? This seems like simple question, but it has taken science decades to begin answering it. The standard approach in business is to brainstorm. However, recent research has demonstrated that brainstorming to come up with new ideas is woefully outdated.

Why? Many reasons, but in part because it is a process designed for sifting through ideas, not ideation (creating new ideas). It also puts our brains in a ‘closed’ mode in which it is difficult for our subconscious to get a word in as the conscious mind is feverishly trying to solve the problem. Actionable creativity can’t be forced out like this - it doesn't come when you want it to, it comes when it's ready to.

Workplace Mindfulness for Wellbeing and Resilience

Our offer to workplaces is very simple: we teach your employees how to take control of their own well-being. Our simple process involves working with you to identify the needs specific to your workplace, helping you engage your employees around mindfulness, and creating a bespoke 6 week course to meet your needs. We can also book a room for a day and work with your staff one to one in 30 minute slots. Whatever the format, our approach is based on teaching simple techniques they can use anywhere and give them access to our guided meditation MP3s, a reading list and the option to email us with questions at no extra charge. This gives them the option to develop a practice in their own time that has a tangible impact on their well-being and your bottom line.

How does it work? Most people think stress is one of the leading causes of workplace absenteeism and decreased productivity. This view is misguided; it's not stress that's the problem, it's not knowing how to react to stress.
